Creating a Respectful Learning Environment
At ACI Learning Tech Academy, we are committed to providing every student with a safe, professional, and supportive learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. Our Student Conduct Policy exists to help ensure that all students can learn free from harassment, intimidation, bullying, discrimination, disruption, or violence.
What We Expect From Students
As a student, you play an important role in maintaining a positive learning environment. All students are expected to:

- Use appropriate language and professional behavior at all times.
- Participate actively and respectfully in class activities.
- Be prepared, present, and engaged during class sessions.
- Communicate concerns, questions, or learning needs in a professional manner.
- Follow instructor directions and contribute positively to the learning experience.
- Maintain professionalism in both onsite and virtual classrooms, including keeping webcams on during virtual sessions when required.
Behaviors That Are Not Allowed
To protect the learning environment, ACI Learning Tech Academy does not tolerate:
- Harassment, intimidation, bullying, or threats.

- Participation in off-topic or polarizing discussions related to subjects such as religion, race, politics, gender, or sexuality.
- Actions that create safety concerns for students, staff, or visitors.
Students are also expected to maintain professional conduct by minimizing distractions, keeping mobile devices silent, taking personal calls outside of class when necessary, and respecting classroom spaces.
Your Responsibility to Report Concerns
Maintaining a safe learning environment is everyone's responsibility. If you witness or experience inappropriate behavior, threats, harassment, bullying, or other conduct concerns, report the incident as soon as possible. All reports are reviewed and investigated by the appropriate ACI Learning staff. In emergency situations, contact local law enforcement immediately.
Consequences for Violating the Policy
Violations of the Student Conduct Policy are taken seriously. Depending on the nature and severity of the behavior, consequences may include:
- Removal from a class session.
- Disciplinary action by the school.
- Withdrawal from classes.
- Dismissal from the program.
- Referral to law enforcement when violations of law have occurred.
- Potential civil or criminal penalties for violations involving copyright infringement or misuse of computing resources.
The school reserves the right to remove disruptive students from class and make final decisions regarding disciplinary actions and program dismissal when policy violations occur.
