Accessing Your Courses
Option 1: From the Home Page
- Log in to the Learning Portal.
- Scroll to the My Courses section on the Home page.
- Select the appropriate course cards (sometimes referred to as a "course tile" or "course shell").
Option 2: From the User Menu
- Click the User Menu
icon on the left side of the screen.
- Select My Courses and Learning Plans.
- Locate and select the appropriate course card.

Save Your Favorite Areas for Quick Access
The Learning Portal includes a Favorites feature that allows you to bookmark frequently used pages, making them easier to access throughout your course.
How to Add a Favorite
- Navigate to the page you want to save (such as My Courses and Learning Plans, Home, My Activities, or My Calendar).
- Click the heart icon (♡) located next to the page name.
- The heart will be filled, indicating that the page has been added to your favorites.
How to Access Your Favorites
- Locate the Favorites Menu, underneath the User Menu.
- Your favorited pages will appear at the top of the menu for quick access.
- Select the page name to navigate directly to that area.
Managing Favorites
- To remove a favorite, return to the page and click the heart icon again.
- You can favorite multiple areas of the Learning Portal to create shortcuts to the pages you use most often.
- Change the order of your favorite pages using the Reorder Favorites

Tip: We recommend adding My Courses and Learning Plans to your favorites, since this is where you will access most of your course resources, assessments, labs, and learning tools.
Course Syllabus
- Open your course tile. (Use your Course Schedule to determine which course tile you will be looking to open.)
- Scroll down to the Course Materials section.
- Select the Syllabus module to view or download the course syllabus.
Course Modules
- Open your course tile.
- Scroll down to the Course Materials section.
- Expand the module you want to access.
- Select the lesson or resource you would like to review.
Labs
Labs are accessed through a separate course card.
To Access Labs:
- Navigate to My Courses and Learning Plans or locate the Labs tile through the course web widget.
- Select the Labs tile.
- Launch the lab activity from within the labs course.
ITPro Video Training
ITPro training is located in a separate course card.
To Access ITPro:
- Navigate to My Courses and Learning Plans or locate the ITPro card through the course web widget.
- Select the ITPro Access course card.
- Browse and launch the assigned video content.
Exam Prep Resources
Exam preparation materials may be located in different places depending on the course.
If Exam Prep Is Hosted in the Learning Portal:
- Open your course card.
- Scroll to the Course Materials section.
- Locate the Exam Prep, Practice Exams, or Certification Preparation resources.
- Select the resource to begin.
Note: Not all courses store exam preparation materials in the same location. Refer to your course syllabus or contact Student Support if you cannot locate your exam-preparation resources.
Coach Maci
Coach Maci is accessed through a separate course card.
To Access Coach Maci:
- Navigate to My Courses and Learning Plans.
- Locate the Coach Maci tile.
- Select the tile to launch Coach Maci.
Mid-Course Assessment
The Mid-Course Assessment is accessed through a separate course card.
To Access the Mid-Course Assessment:
- Navigate to My Courses and Learning Plans.
- Locate the Mid-Course Assessment tile.
- Select the tile and complete the assessment.
End-Course Assessment
The End-of-Course Assessment is accessed through a separate course card.
To Access the End-Course Assessment:
- Verify that you have met all course completion requirements.
- On the final day of your course, look for the End-Course Assessment tile in My Courses and Learning Plans.
- Select the tile to begin the assessment.
Important: The End-Course Assessment tile will only appear on the last day of class and only for students who meet the eligibility requirements.
